THE DEPT OF DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES IS PROPOSING TO SEISMICALLY RETROFIT THE EXISTING KITCHEN/COMMISSARY BUILIDNG AT THE LANTERMAN DEVELOPMENTAL CENTER IN POMONA. THE STRUCTURAL SOLUTION CONSISTS OF THE INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL ROOF SHEATHING ANCHOR CLIPS, CORD STEEL, WOOD DRAG BEAMS, DIAGONAL AND/OR VERTICAL BRACING AND REINFORCEMENTS OF ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS. THIS WORK WILL BE IN THE ATTIC SPACES OR OTHER NONEXPOSED AREAS OF THE BUILDING/
