The proposed project consists of 90 apartment units on a 3.72 acre site. The units are configured in three buildings, each with three levels of residential units over a one level garage structure. The project is a permitted use in the RM-2000 zoning district which allows up to 80 dwelling units (one unit per 2,000 square feet of net site area) on the subject property. The project and existing zoning are consistent with the high density residential (18-40 units per net acre) land use designation proposed as part of the Draft General Plan Land Use Element and approved General Plan Housing Element.
