Document Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) propose to construct approximately 3000 feet on floodwall, 100 feet of levee and 900 feet of retaining wall on the east side of Morrison Creek and the UPRR tracks (Morrison Creek/UPRR project on proposed project). The Corps proposes to excavate existing material, construct the floodwall, retaining wall, and levee, and then seed with native grasses. This project would be constructed in 2012. For a detailed introduction to the proposed project, including the project description, project location and purpose and need, please refer to Section 1.0 Introduction and Section 2.0 Project Alternatives of the Environmental Assessment/initial Study (EA/IS). Subsection 2.3 provides a detailed description of the Proposed Action-Landside Floodwall for Morrison Creek/UPRR project.
