Document Description
To supplement the 1999 Strategic Plan Program Environmental Impact Report (SEIR), the Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) will construct the Effluent Pump Station Annex (EPSA) at its Treatment Plant No. 2 facility, located within the City of Huntington Beach, Ca. The EPSA will serve as a back-up pump station for discharging treated wastewater to OCSD's ocean outfalls to the Pacific Ocean. Additionally, a new collection system Odor and Corrosion Control Program (OCP) will apply odor-reducing chemicals intermittently in the upper reaches of OCSD's trunk sewer system as wastewater is conveyed from northern and central Orange County to the District treatment facilities.
