Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) adopted an Addendum to the previous Negative Declaration and approved the renewal of the World Oil – San Joaquin, LLC Standardized Hazardous Waste Permit (Permit), effective December 10, 2019. The World Oil – San Joaquin, LLC. (WO) Facility is a storage and transfer facility for used oil, used antifreeze, oily water and oily debris/oily solids and operates under the current Permit, which expired January 25, 2019. The WO Facility Permit Renewal reauthorizes continued storage and transfer of used oil, used antifreeze, oily water and oily debris/oily solids in three tanks: TK-1 (24,000 gallons) for used oil and oily water, TK-2 (24,000 gallons) for waste antifreeze, and TK-3 (22,800 gallons) for used oil for ten additional years. The permit also authorizes continuing use of four 55-gallon drums for storage of oily water, oily debris, and for the transfer of waste from truck to tank and truck to truck in a Loading/Unloading area for ten additional years.
