Document Description
The project is the approval of an easement modification agreement between the Regents of the University of California and Uber Technologies, Inc. Uber is developing facility in the Mission Bay South Redevelopment Area on Black 26, Parcel 1 and Block 27, Parcel 1, consisting of two multi-story buildings are located on either side of Pierpoint Lane, and Uber will ocnstruct two connecting overhead pedestrian bridges between two Uber office buildings spanning the width of Pierpoint Lane. Approval was required for a variance in the South Plan Mission Bay South Design for Development Design Standards and guidelines as the pedestrian bridges, when constructed, will partially obstruct a view corridor currently owned and maintained on Pierpoint Lane by the Regents. The Regents and Uber have agreed to the easement modification in order to facilitate the construction of the two pedestrian bridges between the Uber Buildings spanning the width of the view easement.
