Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Section 66270.40, prepared an addendum to an existing Initial Study/Negative Declaration for the renewal of a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) equivalent Hazardous Waste Facility Permit (Permit) pursuant to California Health and Safety Code section 25200 for the Department of Energy (DOE) and Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (LLNL or Facility) for ten additional years. DTSC received a Permit Renewal application for the Facility as authorized by the California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5. The Facility is located at 7000 East Avenue, Livermore, CA 94550 and operates under a current Hazardous Waste Facility Permit. This Addendum to the previously adopted Final IS/ND has been prepared to address activities associated with the Facility Permit Renewal.
