Document Description
The WWTP does not have sufficient capacity to store all wastewater flows and 100 yr precipitation event flows without the potential for spilling. The Project will involve constructing an ultraviolet disinfection facility, and an outfall and diffuser to facilitate wet weather (November 15 through May 15) discharge to Angels Creek. Tertiary treated effluent will be discharged to Angels Creek only when necessary to prevent unauthorized overflows from the storage pond during wet winters, and during high stream flows when the creek flow to effluent flow ratio is at least 20:1. The Project will also modify the effluent monitoring and control facilities, and the Holman Reservoir outlet facilities.
