Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0186-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Lennar Homes, Inc. Project is limited to the construction of five pedestrian bridges in association with the construction of the West Valley Village Pedestrian Trail. The trail will include a total of eighteen bridges; however, thirteen of the bridges are crossing areas of uneven topography and ditches that are being excavated concurrently as part of a residential development that do not function as watercourses or wetlands. These thirteen bridges are thus not included in this Agreement. This Agreement pertains to the construction of Bridges 2, 8, 10, 11, and 12. Bridge 2 will be a 15-foot wooden bridge that will span an ephemeral tributary to Carson Creek. Construction of Bridge 2 will temporarily impact 2.8 sq. ft. of streambank, and will shade approx. 25.2 sq. ft. of stream. Bridge 8 will be a 15 foot wooden bridge that will span an ephemeral tributary to Carson Creek, with the pilings located entirely outside of the banks. The construction of Bridge 8 will shade approx. 24.5 sq. ft. of stream. Bridge 10 will be a 15 foot wooden bridge that will span an ephemeral tributary to Carson Creek. Construction of Bridge 10 will temporarily impact 7.9 sq. ft. of stream bank, and will shade approx. 32.2 sq. ft. of stream. Bridge 11 will be a 15 foot wooden bridge that will span an ephemeral tributary to Carson Creek, with the pilings located entirely outside the banks. Construction of Bridge 11 will shade approx. 21.0 sq. ft. of stream. Bridge 12 will be a 19 foot wooden bridge that will span an ephemeral tributary to Carson Creek, with the pilings located entirely outside the banks. Construction of Bridge 12 will shade approx. 29.3 sq. ft. o f stream.
