Document Description
The project consists of the redevelopment plan for the Buckeye Project. The redevelopment area is approximately 1,063 acres in size. It is a joint redevelopment endeavor between the City of Redding and the County of Shasta. The primary objective of the project is to assist in the elimination of both physical and economic blight present within the project. The project contemplates undertaking a variety of activities to accomplish this objective. The proposed activities include improvements to the circulation system, storm drainage improvements, improvement of the water delivery system, enhancement of parks and open space areas, economic development activities, and affordable housing activities.
