The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of San Luis Obispo Public Works Department, 919 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, California 93401. The applicant proposes routine maintenance activities within the San Luis Obispo Creek watershed within the City of San Luis Obispo, including sediment removal, vegetative control, debris removal, erosion control work, channel flow capacity restoration and revegetation, to be conducted annually to maintain channel capacity for flood control, reduce erosion, and to protect utility lines.
