Document Description
The Airport - Larkfield - Wikiup Sanitation Zone (ASZ), which is owned and operated by the Sonoma County Water Agency (Agency), provides wastewater service to approximately 2,400 parcels in the unincorporated areas of Airport, Larkfield, and Wikiup. The Agency's Board of Directors approved the Preferred Project described in the Final Environmental Impact Report for the project. Please refer to figure 1 for the locations of the project components. The preferred project consists of the phased construction of the following project components: Construct up to 110 million gallons of storage on Site D Use Pipeline Route No. 4 to connect existing and future facilities to Site D Construct up to 70 million gallons of storage on Site C Use Site C for disposal (reclamation) until this site is used for storage Use Pipeline Route No. 7 to connect existing and future facilities to Site C Upgrade the ASZ treatment plant to a tertiary level Discharge into the City of Santa Rosa's Geysers Recharge project Use Pipeline Route No. 3 to connect to pipeline for Geyer's Recharge project Pursue additional disposal areas as available and study alternative disposal methods
