Document Description
The proposed project is to convey a portion of SCVWD's approved Central Valley Project (CVP) water supplies through 2022 to Semitropic Water Storage District (Semitropic), a member unit KCWA, for storage and for later return. DWR will convey SCVWD's CVP water from O'Neil Forebay to KCWA's turnouts in Reaches 10A, 12E, and/or 13B of the California Aqueduct. The return of SCVWD's water will be accomplished either by delivery via exchange of KCWA's future SWP approved Table A water to SCVWD in Reach 9 of the South Bay Aqueduct of by pumping delivery to the California Aqueduct in Reaches 10A, 12E, and/or 13B of the California Aqueduct for a like amount of SWP water supplies concurrently delivered to SCVWD by DWR.
