Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (R3-2001-0527) pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, David McIntire/East Bay Municipal Utility District. The project consists of constructing a pipeline crossing under Walnut Creek using jack and bore methods. The crossing begins at a borepit in Civic Park ball field and crosses under the creek and Civic Drive to the westerly side of Civic Drive intersecting with Carlback Avenue. The steel casing for the bore will be 96 inches diameter and the top of the casing will be 16 feet below the flowline of the creek. The pipeline is for domestic treated water and will be a 69-inch mortar lined and coated pipe.
