The work consists of removal of an existing concrete headwall, extending the existing 3 inch culvert approximately 100 linear feet, and installing a new swale, slope fading, and concrete headwall in order to allow the installation of a new water tank. Connecting one new storm drain inlet to an existing 36 inch culvert, which traverses the site, to allow proper drainage between two new water tanks. The existing culvert, concrete headwall and outfall will remain in place. 2201 Larkey Lane, Walnut Creek, California. The California Department of Fish and Game (CDFG) is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0172 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Christopher Dodge/East Bay Municipal Utility District.
