Document Description
The project site consists of a 7 acre parcel zoned MG (General Industrial) located on Smith Avenue. The site is an existing industrial facility that processes used oil into lubricating base oils, industrial fuels, and asphalt flux used for roofing products, and consolidates and transfers used antifreeze for recycling. The project involves the installation of a thermal oxidizer for vapor control on the facility's fuel tanks; supplementing an existing heater in the refinery with a new, smaller heater; dehalogenating refinery fuel; and the storage of virgin ethylene glycol (antifreeze) on site to sell to its customers.
