The District is proposing to construct a new school on a 9 acre site in the lower Toro Canyon which would serve elementary-aged children (K-5) from Summerland, Toro Canyon/ East Valley Road, Serena Park, and the Carpinteria Valley west of Cravens Lane. The existing Summerland School would be closed and the students relocated to the proposed new Toro Canyon School site.
