Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0211-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Patrick Parker, Spring Canyon Recovery Acquisition, LLC. The project is limited to the development of 492 single family lots on the 548-acre property. A 284-acre area (Lots 1, 256, and 266) will be left as open space. The development will also include the construction of a sheriff sub-station, fire station, two park sites, a school site, fuel modification zone, and a trail network. One vehicular access already exists to the south as an undercrossing of SR-14, and two new access roads will be constructed to the east as extensions from already developed residential areas. Project activities also include the future maintenance of 13 debris basins that will be constructed as part of the development. The basins will require continual sediment removal, disposal, and other associated maintenance activities.
