Document Description
The area includes two distinct segments of the Guadalupe River, one from SR-101 to I-880 and another from I-280 to Blossom Hill Road. Modifications area also proposed on adjacent portions of two tributaries, Ross and Canoas Creeks. Proposed facilities include bypass channels, channel widening and benching, gabion-linings, bridge construction, and floodwalls and levees. The main beneficial effect of the project is reduced flood hazard along the Upper Guadalupe River. Mitigation measures proposed as part of the project would also contribute to long-term improvements.
