Document Description
The project proposes to replace the existing structurally deficient bridge to accommodate the 100-year flood and improve traffic safety. The proposed bridge will be located between 28 and 55 feet west (downstream) of the existing bridge. The proposed bridge will be 28 feet wide with two travel lanes, supported by abutments at each end and a single, central 5.5 foot diameter pier. In addition, the existing historic bridge will be cosmetically rehabilitated and remain in place for use by pedestrians and equestrians only.
