Document Description
The proposed pump station will distribute recycled water within the Highlands area of the District. The station will be designed to pump 800 gallons per minute (gpm) at 250 feet of head. To mininize visual noise impacts, the proposed station will be installed underground. The project is a part of an expansion of the District's existing recycled water system to provide additional recycled water for irrigation purposes, resulting in more effective use of valuable and limited imported potable water resources. This project will benefit residents of the District service area, in particular the "Highlands" area, and will also benefit regional and statewide populations to a lesser degree by freeing imported water for higher quality uses.
