THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS A SEISMIC RETROFIT AT BRIDGE STRUCTURE (#10-0166).THE WORK WILL CONSIST OF DRILLING TWO CIDH PILES AT BOTH ABUTMENTS AND CONSTRUCTING FOUR TIEBACKS AT BENTS THREE AND FOUR.THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO STRENGTHEN, AND PREVENT COLLAPSING OF THE BRIDGE DURING A SEISMIC EVENT.THE DRIVING PUBLIC WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS PROJECT BY HAVING A STABLE BRIDGE.
