Document Description
DHS PROPOSES TO CONSOLIDATE, UPGRADE, & MODERNIZE THEIR LABORATORY & OFFICE FACILITIES IN THE SAN FRANCISCO EAST BAY AREA. THE PROJECT WILL INCLUDE CONSOLIDATING EXISTING FACILITIES INTO ONE CENTRAL LOCAITON WITHIN THE CITY OF RICHMOND. A NEW 492,000 GSF FACILITY WILL BE CONSTRUCTED AND 525 STATE EMPLOYEES WILL BE RELOCATED TO THE NEW FACILITY FROM BERKELEY, EMERYVILLE, AND FAIRFIELD.
