Document Description
THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE INSTALLTION OF A PUMP AND 6-INCH IRRIGATION LINE FROM THE BOATING DOCK TO THE EXISTING BACKFLOW DEVICES. THE PROPOSED PUMP & IRRIGATION LINE WILL ALLOW DPR TO USE THE WATER FROM THE LAKE FOR IRRIGATION PURPOSES. THE PROPOSED PUMP & IRRIGATION LINE CAN BE OPERATED AT LOWER COSTS THAN THE PRESENT MEANS OF IRRIGATION, RESULTING IN SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS TO THE OPERATING BUDGET. EXCAVATION WILL BE 2 TO 3 FT DEET, HOWEVER NO CULTURAL OR BIOLOGICAL IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED.
