EXCAVATION OF 4 BACKHOE TEST PITS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERFORMING A GEOTECHNICAL/SOILS EVALUATION AT THE PROPOSED COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY. THE TEST PITS WILL BE APPRX. 2-8 FT IN DEPTH AND WILL BE IMMEDIATELY BACK- FILLED. THE SITE IS CURRENTLY A GRASSS LAWN AREA UNDERLAIN BY WEATHERED GRANTIC ROCK. SOME GRADING WILL BE REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A LEVEL PAD AND UNIFORM BEARING CONDITIONS FOR THE PROPOSED FOUNDATION.
