Document Description
THE PROJECT PROPOSES THE REMEDIATION OF CONTAMINATED SOIL ON A SITE APPRX. 1.5 ACRES IN SIZE, LOCATED APPRX. 3/4 MILE SOUTHWEST OF THE MAIN UCR CAMPUS IN AN AREA KNOWN AS THE AGRICULTURAL EXPERIMENT STATION. THE CONTAMINATED SOIL WILL BE TREATED ON-SITE USING A TRANSPORTABLE TREATMENT UNIT UTILIZING HIGH VACUUM, LOW TEMPERATURE THERMAL DESORPTION TECHNOLOGY.
