NEC ELECTRONICS, INC. PROPOSES TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE AN EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING FACILITY. THE PROPOSED PROJECT WOULD INCLUDE APPRX. 750,000 SQ FT OF STRUCTURES PLUS PARKING AND ANCILLARY FACILITIES, AND WOULD OCCUPY APPX. 40 TO 50 ACRES IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF EXISTING NEC FACILITATES. IN ADDITION THE PROJECT WOULD INCLUDE AN OFFSITE NEW 10-INCH SANITARY SEWER FORCE MAIN.
