THE UNIVERSITY OF CA, DAVIS PROPOSES TO INSTALL DATA NETWORKING AND VIDEO SERVICES TO THE OFFICE OF STUDENT HOUSING, UNIVERSITY-OWNED HOUSING COMPLEXES ON-CAMPUS AND OFF-CAMPUS IN THE CITY OF DAVIS AND PRIVATELY-OWNED HOUSING COMPLEXES. SPECFIC PROJECT ELEMENTS WOULD INCLUDE EXTENDING FIBER-OPTIC CABLES TO HOUSING UNITS BY A COMBINATION OF TRENCHING OR BORING TO PLACE NEW CONDUITS AND REUSE OF EXISTING CONDUITS. TRENCHESWOULD BE APPRX. 36 INCHES DEEP & 18 INCHES WIDE.
