THIS PROJECT INVOLVES LAND ACQUISITION AND DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES WITHIN THE PROJECT BOUNDARIES, THE MODIFICATION OF AN EXISTING DRAINAGE BASIN, AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW DRAINAGE BASIN/WETLAND SYSTEM. THE OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT ARE TO: 1. RESTORE STREAM ENVIRONMENT ZONE OBILTERATED BY PAST DEVELOPMENT, 2. IMPROVE THE FUNCTION OF EXISTING WATER QUALITY TREATMENT FACILITIES, AND 3. IMPROVE THE AETHETICS OF THE PROJECT AREA.
