THIS PROJECT WILL UPGRADE THE TAPIA SPUR TRAIL FOR IMPROVED ACCESS AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. THE CURRENT TRAIL HAS GRADES EXCEEDING 15-24% AND SEVERAL TIGHT SWITCHBACKS. 1/2 MILE OF NEW TRAIL AND ADDITIONAL CHANGES ALONG THE TAPIA SPUR TRAIL WILL BE DONE BY A COMBINATION OF MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT AND HAND TOOL WORK.
