SEISMIC RETROFIT OF THE COTTONWOOD CREEK BRIDGES BY REPLACEMENT WITH A SINGLE STRUCTURE CONSTRUCTED IN THE MEDIAN. IMPROVEMENTS TO THE VERTICAL ALIGNMENT, SHOULDERS AND MEDIAN WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO THIS PROPOSED PRO- JECT, LOCATED ON THE TEHAMA/SHASTA COUNTY LINE. THE RAMPS AT BOWMAN ROAD WILL BE ALIGNED SLIGHTLY TO CONFORM TO THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BRIDGE APPROACHES.
