THE PROJECT CONSISTS OF A PLAN DEMONSTRATING A MINIMUM 15 YEAR COUNTYWIDE COMBINED SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL CAPACITY FOR THE COUNTY OF PLUMAS AND CITY OF PORTOLA AND ESTABLISH ES SITING CRITERIA FOR NEW OR EXPANDED SOLID WASTE LAND- FILLS AND/OR TRANSFORMATION FACILITIIES WHICH MAY BE LOCATED IN THE COUNTY. AND SECOND A DOCUMENT SUMMARIZING EACH SOURCE REDUCTION AND RECYCLING ELEMENT, HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE ELEMENT AND NONDISPOSAL FACILITY ELEMENT PREPARED BY THE COUNTY OF PLUMAS AND THE CITY OF PORTOLA.
