CDC PROPOSES TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF BEDS AT HIGH DESERT STATE PRISON. CDC PROPOSES TO ADD A TOTAL OF 200 BEDS TO EXISTING STRUCTRES UTILIZING PREVIOUSLY OCCUPIED SPACE. AN ADDITION OF UP 50 STAFF MAY BE REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE WORST CASE OVERCROWDING.
