A total of about 768,585 gross square feet of office space, an additional 403,415 gross square feet of office/R&D/high technology and biotechnical industries, a 350-room hotel, and 30,000 gross square feet of restaurant and retail space are proposed on a bare site totaling approximately 42.2 acres in area. This project would replace a project that was approved in 1997 upon certification of a FEIR by the City. The 1997 plan proposed development of 20 acres of automobile sales. 175,000 gross square feet of commercial retail and 475 hotel rooms.
