CDFG is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2007-0323-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Edward Mackay. Construction of the Gateway Hotel and Gas Station. Approximately 0.98 acres of willow riparian habitat will be permanently removed along a portion of Hangtown Creek. Additionally, 0.43 acres of seasonal wetland will be permanently removed. Hangtown Creek will be directed through a 140' box culvert where it passes under the proposed intersection of Jacquier and Smith Flat Roads.
