Document Description
SEIR--An Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the Edenvale Redevelopment Project in March 2000, which addressed the impacts of developing 4.8 million square feet of industrial uses in the New Edenvale area, subject to certain development restrictions identified in the proposed Area Development Policy, Known as "development triggers." The San Jose Redevolpment Agency is currently proposing to revise the Area Development Policy to Allow up to 5 million square feet of new industrial uses and to modify the development triggers to allow industrial development to proceed prior to approval and completion of the identified "gateway" transprotation improvements. These improvements are dependent on outside agency approvals. Construction of a T-Bridge extending from Silver Creek Valley Road across the creek channel to the southern bank and construction of a new 24-inch underground storm drain extending to a new outfall under the existing Silver Creek Valley Road bridge.
