Document Description
The CDFW issued the existing ITP in order to address and authorize, as fully mitigated, the incidental take of giant garter snake (Thamnophis couchi gigas), a species designated as Threatened under CESA, Minor Amendment No. A1, as approved, modified the existing previously issued CESA ITP, and allowing for the installation of a snake proof fence to minimize impacts and avoid take for work that will occur within 200 feet of giant garter snake aquatic habitat during the snake's inactive period. In approving Minor Amendment No. A1, the CDFW determined that, among other things, no substantial increase in the nature, or scope of the previous authorization provided by the CESA ITP, and that no new significant or substantially more severe environmental impacts than previously considered and disclosed would occur.
