Extension of light rail transit service approximately 4.3 miles south from Meadowview Road to Cosumnes River College. The project was previously evaluated in a Supplemental Final Environmental Impact Statement/Subsequent Final EIR. Since approval of the SFEIS/SFEIR in 2008, a number of needed modifications to the project's design have been identified. The focus of this joint IS/EA is to determine whether the proposed project modifications may have significant environmental consequences. Modifications include realignment of the proposed light rail route along a 0.75-mile portion of the alignment, relocation of a Transfer Power Substation, and extension of the terminal tailtrack by 400 feet.
