Document Description
The project is the widening of an existing gravel entrance road which will result in the fill of a 410-foot long, and one foot wide grass swale, which begins at the entrance of Little Valley Road. The swale parallels the existing gravel driveway for approximately 410-feet. The existing 12-foot wide gravel driveway will be widened to 24 feet and the gravel will be replaced with asphalt. The Operator will create a grassy swale, which will parallel the new entrance road. An existing culvert under the road will be removed and replaced with approximately 20 feet of culvert and rock rip-rap. A conservation easement will be recorded and held in perpetuity and will include the pond, the ephemeral drainage that drains into it, and a 100-foot buffer around these features. Native trees, shrubs and grasses will be planted around the creek and pond to enhance California red-legged frog and other native sensitive species habitat.
