Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (2001-0022) pursuant to section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Charles Slutzkin, Napa Valley Gateway. The applicant proposes to completely fill and realign approximately 2900 linear feet of the existing creek. The realigned creek will be approximately 2800 linear feet in length and will include a broad flood plain terrace that is designed to flood periodically and support extensive riparian vegetation. At the western most end of the creek, a 5 acre seasonal wetland will be created and protected in perpetuity through a conservation easement to compensate for wetland impacts.
