The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) adopted an Addendum to the previous Environmental Impact Report and approved a Temporary Authorization Request, dated June 9, 2022, for the Quemetco Inc. Facility (Facility). Pursuant to Section 66270.42(e) of Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, Quemetco requests the approval of a Temporary Authorization to install and operate two miscellaneous units, consisting of (1) a Compression Auger and (2) a Centrifuge. DTSC approved the Temporary Authorization Request to authorize the installation and operation of the two Miscellaneous Units for a period of 180 calendar days.
