To develop a long-term comprehensive plan will restore ecological health and improve water management for the beneficial uses of the Bay-Delta system. The project purpose includes program-level plans to achieve the goals and objectives which address the four critical and interrelated resource areas of water quality, water supply reliability, ecosystem quality, and Delta levees and channel system integrity.
