The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Section 66270.42 is approving an Addendum to a previously adopted Initial Study/Negative Declaration for a Class 1* Permit Modification to the existing Hazardous Waste Facility Permit (Permit) for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory – Site 300 (LLNL Site 300). DTSC prepared an Addendum pursuant to the 1996 and 1997 Initial Study/Negative Declarations (IS/NDs) prepared for previous DTSC Permits, and to address activities associated with the Permit Modification request due to updates to the CEQA Guidelines and not as a result of project changes. The Permit Modification will authorize various administrative changes to the Permit and does not include any physical changes, changes in operations, construction, or ground disturbing activities. LLNL Site 300 is located on Corral Hollow Road near Tracy, California.
