Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (2001-0143) pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Mike Harlan, Bernal Investment Company, LLC. The project consists of constructing two stormwater outfalls, cofferdams, and bank stabilization, all of which would be constructed in the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (Zone 7) flood control channel B-2-1. The proposed outfalls would be associated with the construction of two detention basins on the northwest bank of the B-2-1 channel. The first outfall (North Outfall) would be located several hundred feet directly northeast of I-680. The second outfall (South Outfall) would be several hundred feet upstream of the confluence of Arroyo de la Laguna. The Augustine Knolls property is located in an undeveloped area south of the intersections of Bernal Avenue and I-680, in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California on the USGS 7.5 Quadrangle Map for Dublin. The property is bisected by I-680; Bernal Avenue bounds the site on the north; Arroyo de la Laguna forms the southwest boundary; while the southeast boundary is marked by the B-2-1 flood control channel.
