Document Description
Cache Creek is integrally bound to the environmental and social resources of the County. These resources inlcude drainage, flood protection, water supply, conveyance, wildlife habitat, recreation, aggregate mining, and agricultural production. Adoption of the Cache Creek Resources Management Plan (CCRMP) balances a diverse range of concerns and emphasizes the management of the creek to enhance the variety of resource needs for the region. The CCRMP is a comprehensive creek management plan that eliminates in-channel commercial mining, establishes an improvement program for implementing on-going projects to improve channel stability, and ensures future habitat restoration along the creek bank.
