Document Description
The project is CDFG's issuance of an Agreement regarding proposed Stream Alteration (SAA#5-305-99) ("agreement") to Caltrans ("applicant") in conjunction with the applicant's proposal to modify Gisler and Greenville Banning Channels for the widening of the 405 freeway. The project includes the following: (1) A total of 5023 linear feet of Gisler channel, an earthen channel, will be coverted to a reinforced concrete box (RCB) or an open concrete lined channel along the northbound Route 405 from 0.3 mile south of earthen channel, will be impacted at Harbor Blvd./South Coast Drive intersection. The channel will be extended as a RCB and the existiing transition structure and rock slope protection will be reconstructed. The project will impact 1.9 acres of Gisler channel and 0.04 acre of Greenville Banning channel. All impacts are permanent.
