Document Description
The City is proposing to construct Phase 1B of the SR99/Skyway Interchange Project. The Skyway interchange project was originally proposed and approved in the 1990s. It consisted of two phases: Phase I, proposing modifications to Skyway Interchange, and Phase II, proposing to replace the existing structure. Phase 1 was then split into Phase IA and Phase IB. Phase IA, reconstruction of the east side of the interchange, was constructed in the late 1990s. Phase IB, reconstruction of the west side of the interchange, is the current project which is proposed to be constructed in 2008.
