PROJECT IS A REMOVAL ACTION AT SITE15 AT NAVAL AIR STATION ALAMEDA. SITE 15 IS ONE OF THE SITES BEING INVESTIGATED UNDER THE REMEDIAL INVESTIGATION. APPROX. 3700 CUBIC YARDS OF LEAD AND PCB CONTAMINATED SOIL WILL BE TREATED ON-SITE USING SOIL WASHING PROCESS. TREATED SOIL WOULD BE RE- DEPOSITED ONSITE. RESIDUALS WILL BE SENT TO A PERMITTED HAZARDOUS WASTE TREATMENT DISPOSAL FACILITY.
