Document Description
The Grassland Drive at North Branch Horse Creek Horizontal Directional Drilling Project is part of a larger fiber optic installation project between Vacaville and West Sacramento. This portion of the project involves the installation of a 2-inch diameter plastic conduit using horizontal directions drilling (HDD) technique under North Branch Horse Creek. The HDD will be approx. 200 feet long at a depth of no less than 5 feet below the low point of the creek. The bore pits on either side of the creek will be at least 50 feet away from the top of bank. CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0168-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Ron Chamberlain, Integra Telecom.
