PROJECT CONSISTS OF RE-ROUTING A SEGMENT OF TRAIL BETWEEN HWY 79 AND WEST MESA TRAIL. CURRENT TRAIL IS HEAVILY ERODED. PROPOSED RE-ROUTE WOULD DECREASE EROSION AND MAIN- TENANCE REQUIREMENTS. NEW TRAIL WILL BE BUILT TO 5-FOOT STANDARD WIDTH.
